I recently joined the ranks of Mark Pauline's Survival Research Labs, a robotic perfomance group that has been performing since 1978. Watching as new love sears the brain, 2005. This is a series of drawings based on a New York Times article of May 2005, describing how scientists can see the operations of the brain and watch how they are affected by emotional events such as new romantic relationships.
This work was featured in the group exhibition Past Lives and Personal Exorcisms at Blackbird Space in October of 2005.
